First discovered in 1894, the Phillips Township gold property is truly a treasure chest of forgotten golden opportunities having an astonishing eighteen (18) mine shafts and an adit.

Phillips Township Gold Property

Quick Facts

Tier 1 Mining Jurisdiction with abundant overlooked geological regions with high mineral potential.

The company holds a 100% interest in the high-grade Phillips Township Gold Property, Rainy River District, N.W. Ontario. Land package totals 225 claim cells for approx. 10,000 acres located in proximity to 4 mineral deposits.

These include the New Gold Rainy River Mine (+8 million Oz.), the Cameron Lake Deposit (1.8 million Oz.), the Agnico Eagle-Hammond Reef deposit (3.3 million Oz.), the Tartisan Nickel, Copper, Cobalt Deposit and many others. Has great local infrastructure, manpower, heavy duty equipment, hospital, major Hwy and local services nearby.

The property has so much potential having a total of eighteen (18) shafts and an adit with visible gold having been recorded historically & recently. Of significant importance is the fact that the majority of the gold bearing systems also have parallel systems with reported historical gold results as high as 769.00 g/t Au. It is the first time that all these underexplored high-grade gold systems are part of a single property.

It is the first time that all these underexplored high-grade gold systems are part of a single property. They include the high-grade Combined Mine, Mascotte Mine, Trojan Mine, Boulder Mine, Terrell Occurrence, OGS Occurrence, Kuluk Occurrence & the Young's Bay Occurrence:

  1. Combined Mine: Four main veins (three steeply dipping & one large flat lying up to 12 metres thick with 762 metres of strike length). Has seven shafts, some drifting with many trenches and pits with visible gold present. The majority of the gold bearing vein systems have parallel systems. The quartz is generally white to grey-blue in colour and can also be coarse quartz to sugary textured quartz. Has 349,987 oz’s of gold inferred (non 43-101 compliant). Never been drilled below 90 metres.
  2. Young’s Bay Occurrence:  Contains six parallel quartz veins, four of which have visible gold and are separated by 30 metres of low ground following the same strike direction as the veins with 262 metres in strike length. Has 3 shafts and pits. Eight tons of high-grade ore was extracted from surface trenches and the grade was reported to be an amazing 24.75 oz/t/gold.
  3. Trojan Mine: Seven (7) sub-parallel gold bearing quartz veins 5 to 8 ft wide that can be followed along the hillside which has approx. 275 metres in strike length. Has a shaft, four surface pits and numerous trenches. The Trojan Mine has easy access and is located just 150 metres off the Hwy. New 8 ft wide gold bearing quartz vein recently discovered in 2023.
  4. Boulder Occurrence: Two parallel veins with two shafts. Main shaft down to 90 m with four levels with Main vein having 800 metres of strike length. Visible gold documented. No recent sampling. Boulder Occurrence: Two parallel veins with two shafts. Main shaft down to 90 m with four levels with Main vein having 800 metres of strike length. Visible gold documented. No recent sampling.
  5. Mascotte Mine: Four parallel veins with historical visible gold documented. Has three shafts and one adit with easy access being located just 250 metres off the Highway. Untouched for the last 100 years.
  6. Terrell Occurrence: Five veins and a shaft.
  7. OGS Occurrence: One vein.
  8. Kuluk occurrences: One vein.

History

Exploration in the area is said to have started around 1885 where a large number of high-grade gold discoveries were made and where many properties were brought into production during what became known as the ‘Lake of the Woods Gold Rush’. The gold rush was short-lived when most prospectors stampeded to the Klondike in 1897. Bonanza gold grades and visible gold can be a common occurrence on this exciting property.

The Phillips Township gold discovery began in 1894 to 1905 where a number of shafts and adits were dug. The property saw very limited exploration until three other new gold discoveries were made in 1970’s, 1980’s and in 1999 namely the OGS, Terrell and Kuluk gold showings respectively. Was again revived in 2017 when a ten (10) shallow hole drill program intersected gold in every hole but the explorer ran out of funds. Never followed-up.

The property has been a hidden gem for years and is about to be properly explored using modern exploration methods. It is the first time that all these underexplored high-grade gold systems are part of a single property.

The property has year-round access with major highway and powerlines crossing the entire length of the property. Good local infrastructure, manpower, heavy duty equipment, hospital with local services nearby. There is also a cell tower in the center of the property and a First Nations drilling contractor located just kms away.
